My boots are flat.

I have two things to say about winter shoes:
One: if you cannot walk in heels or wedges or any sort of elevated shoe---do not wear them, or borrow them or purchase them. The purpose is of course to look better---taller, sexier, more confident---and you are by no means pulling that off wobbling around like there's a stick up your ass.
Two: if everything is covered with ice and snow and you have a ways to walk (and especially if point one applies to you) do not invest in high heeled winter shoes. What is the point? Seriously, it's dangerous.
It's just not worth it. Make better decisions my high heeled friends. And in the meantime, we will be watching, scowling and laughing.

Ha! Yes...my snow boots are always flat.
Would love to know what inspired this post!
I've been wearing the same pair of badass, ultra-functional snow boots since November, and will probably continue to do so until March.
Then again, I only really have, like, two pairs of shoes anyway, so it's not that different from summertime.
So true and the only time I've tried wearing heels is when I go to parties and it's a BITCH especially in the winter- I'm one of those people who wobble and whom you probably laugh and whisper about...but hey...it's all in the name of trying to look sexy like you said...of course it never works, but one should never stop trying!!! Giving up is for losers ;-)Normally though I'm in flats and very very happy with that- or a nice hiking boot with a solid sole is also great!!
I quite agree, we get a lot of ice down here in Stavanger because the temperature goes over and under zero quite a lot in the winter, and I spend most of the winter in flat winter shoes with good grips on the bottom. They're ugly but to be honest I don't want to fall on my bum!
