Vår leilighet

I love our apartment. I felt at home right away. I think it is a great size for me and Lars with a kitchen\living space, a bedroom, a storage room and a bathroom that is bigger than any I have lived with before. We also have a secured room downstairs if we need more space to store stuff.

Below is the view from our balcony. It is awesome, especially because you can see Norway's biggest lake, Mjøsa, from our little porch. :)

Here you can see the side of our apartment building that faces the street, Parkgata. If you are looking at the top row of balconies, ours is on the left.

As for the rest of the apartment, we aren't finished with it yet. I will post some pictures when we are done decorating etc. For now you can see more pictures of the inside here. Lars' mom, Randi, told me that she is looking forward to seeing the apartment again since I have been living there with the hope that I will make it more 'homey'. I am looking forward to hanging some pictures from our adventures on the walls. It will be great to see some prints of Chicago, Seattle, the Hoh Rainforest, Ruby Beach and maybe even Poulsbo on these white walls.

But for all our apartment visions, we are following Elaine's advice: Buy things slowly and when you can. So don't hold your breath for those new pictures. :)
