What do you like better: Michael Jackson or the Olympics?
Can't decide? Or maybe it's an easy decision for you, I dunno. But what if you could have a taste of both at the same time?! You would choose that, right?
I know you have heard of Michael Jackson but have you heard of Aksel Lund Svindal? He is a bad ass Norwegian skiier that can now add to his long list of awards a silver medal in the Men's Downhill Competition, Winter Olympics 2010. On a side note, have I mentioned that Lars and I have been absolutely glued to the tv since the Olympics started? Lars even got up in the middle of the night to watch the Norway-Canada hockey game (I slept)! That's what happens when you combine a sports nut and a proud Norwegian, I suppose.
What a rad dude. Seriously, how many serious, pro, Olympic athletes do you know that would simulate an MJ video and then post it on their own blog? Not to mention the fact that it's hard not to admire someone that has come so long and has dedicated themselves so completely to their sport (assuming they are not a douche bag of course).
Most of all, I really love that he doesn't take himself as seriously as the rest of the world does. Legendarisk, Svindal. Well done!

I just want to point out that there are three olympic skiers in this video. Lars Elton Myhre and Kjetil Jansrud is in it too. They are not as famous as Aksel, but still pretty good. Watch out for Jansrud on Sunday when he takes his first olympic medal in the super combination! You heard it here first:)

I'll also say that Aksel is pretty attractive.... (I clicked on his blog). could just be that in general athletes have a sexiness about them... Could be the passion for the sports or something about devoting his entire life to something that happens every four years...
I also watched the Norway-Canada hockey game, though it wasn't the middle of the night. Uh, sorry, Lars. Hope you weren't too devastated. CA-NA-DA! CA-NA-DA!
Olympics, hands down.

Heia Svindal!! Digger den mannen. Jeg så heldigvis på Super G da han vant, og jeg som normalt ikke blir så veldig gira av sport - kom med et lite utrop da han var midt i løypa.
